Another weight update

My poor little boys didn’t gain any weight while I was gone!

I’ll have to work on fattening them up now that I’m home. I’m a little irritated.. my parents turned down the heat in the house while I was gone without asking me, so when I got home it was 65 in here and my poor boys were chilly. I warmed them up with some snuggles and yummy cooked oatmeal, but I feel awful that they had to be cold for a week.

Right now they are asleep behind my back and definitely happy that I am home. As soon as they heard me talking when I walked in the door last night, they ran to the doors of the cage and started hanging all over the bars. I missed them so much!!!

    Thanks! They are surely happy that I am home.. I’ve been really having to curb myself not to give them too many treats today!

    My poor rats rarely get to see above 65…

    I miss them so much. I get to see them again Saturday night! I might get to go and see a bunch of cute rats in a rescue.

    Alas, no updates. My sister has been here visiting for the last 11 days (she left on Monday morning) and so I haven’t done anything ratlike except for sew up their new hammock set in a while. There probably won’t be any updates for a bit, actually. Dan and I are in the middle of a rather intense training program at the moment that isn’t allowing me much time for “free time”. Ratties will still get their new hammocks on Saturdays, but I don’t think I’ll be putting up any new tutorials until we’re back to our regularly scheduled life.

    I really should give the boys another weighing, though!

    How are things going with your boys? I just found your blog again after months of it being lost. (Had to get a new computer, so I lost your URL.) Hope things are going well.
